IS GOD REAL?

God’s Power and Wisdom

It is God’s power that we need. As we surrender our lives and everything we do to him, give him full permission to do with us as he wills, make ourselves available to him and are committed totally to his purposes, we clear the way for him to accomplish his will.

When the Gospel is authentically proclaimed, we should often expect to see confirming signs and wonders (Acts 4: 29-30) to give convincing power to the word, which will serve to accomplish God’s will, including that deepest of all his desires, the conversion of the human heart.

God’s particular wisdom guides his people, both as individuals and as a body of believers, and is communicated to those who seek it; provided they have the intention of carrying it out before they know what it is. St. Paul writes to the Colossians: “We have not ceased to pray for you, asking that you may be filled with the knowledge of his will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding” (l:9).

We rely on the wisdom of God. We desire to be directed by God’s will for us. We will seek it relentlessly, and be committed to making no major moves without first discerning God’s will for us, even if this involves extensive periods of waiting on him (Ps. 37:7).

Jesus Christ is Lord! Christ crucified has been exalted by the Father to be Lord of all creation. In response, each member is to declare himself personally under the total Lordship of Jesus Christ, and to live out this commitment in conscious daily submission to him as our Saviour and Lord.

Messages from Medjugorge

June 02, 2012: “Dear children” I am continuously among you because, with my endless love. I desire to show you the door of Heaven. I desire to tell you how it is opened: through goodness, mercy, love and peace – through my Son. Therefore, my children do not waste time on vanities. Only knowledge of the love of my Son can save you. Through the salvific love and the Holy Spirit he chose me and I, together with Him, am choosing you to be apostles of His love and will. My children, great is the responsibility upon you. I desire that by your example you help sinners regain their sight, enrich their poor souls and bring them back into my embrace. Therefore, pray, pray, fast and confess regularly. If receiving my Son in the Eucharist is the center of your life then do not be afraid, you can do everything. I am with you. Every day I pray for the shepherds and I expect the same of you. Because my children, without their guidance and strengthening through their blessing, you cannot do it. Thank you.

June 25, 2012: “Dear children” With great hope in the heart, also today I call you to prayer. If you pray, little children, you are with me and you are seeking the will of my Son and are living it. Be open and live prayer and, at every moment, may it be for you the saviour and joy of your soul. I am with you and I intercede for all of you before my Son Jesus. Thank you for having responding to my call.

Annual Apparition to Ivanka June 25,2012: At Her last daily apparition on May 7, l985, Our Lady confided to Ivanka the 10th secret and told her that she would have an apparition once a year on the anniversary of the apparition. It was that way also this year. The apparition, which lasted 7 minutes, took place at Ivanka’s family home. Only Ivanka's family was present at the apparition. After the apparition, Ivanka said 'Our Lady Spoke to me about the 5th secret and at the end said: “I am giving you my motherly blessing. Pray for peace, peace, peace”.'

July 25, 2012 “Dear children” Today I call you to the good! Be carriers of peace and goodness in this world. Pray that God may give you the strength so that hope and pride may always reign in your heart and life because you are God’s children and carriers of His hope to this world that is without joy in the heart, and is without a future, because it does not have its heart open to God who is your salvation. Thank you for having responded to my call.

August 25, 2012: “Dear children” Also today with hope in the heart, I am praying for you am thanking the Most High for every one of you who lives my messages with the heart. Give thanks to God’s love that I can love and lead each of you through my Immaculate Heart also towards conversion. Open your hearts and decide for holiness, and hope will give birth to joy in your heats. Thank you for having responded to my call.

September 02, 2012: “Dear children”, as my eyes are looking at you, my soul is seeking those souls with whom it desires to be one – the souls who have understood the importance of prayer for those of my children whom have not come to know the love of the Heavenly Father; I am calling you because I need you. Accept the mission and do not be afraid. I will strengthen you. I will fill you with my graces. With my love I will protect you from the evil spirit. I will be with you. With my presence I will console you in difficult moments. Thank you for your open hearts. Pray for priests. Pray that the unity between my Son and them may be all the stronger, that they may be one. Thank you.

September 25, 2012: “Dear children” When in nature you look at the richness of my colours which the Most High gives to you. Open your hearts and pray with gratitude for all the good that you have and say: I am here created for eternity – and yearn for heavenly things because God loves you with immeasurable love. This is why He also gave me to you to tell you. ‘Only in God is your peace and hope, dear children’ Thank you for having responded to my call.

CCSM - CATHOLIC CHARISMATIC SERVICES OF MONTREAL - serves all members of the Catholic Renewal in English Speaking Quebec, particularly in Montreal and its surroundings. Our leaders meet on the fourth Saturday of the month at St. Monica’s Parish rectory and all our members are invited to participate in our monthly Praise Assembly held at St. Monica’s Parish Hall, 6405 Terrebonne Ave., NDG, on the first Sunday of each month, commencing at 3:30pm.

CCSM is a member of CCRSC (Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services of Canada) and of ICCRS (International Catholic Charismatic Renewal Services) with headquarters and Offices at the Vatican.

CCSM has an active Healing Ministry, arranges “Seminars in the Spirit” and hosts an Annual Retreat which is open to all.

Vigil: Every Thursday morning after the 9:00 am Mass until 12 o’clock at St. Veronica’s Parish, 1300 Carson Avenue in Dorval.

Praise Assembly: CCSM Praise Assembly takes place every first Sunday of each month at St. Monica’s Parish, 6405 de Terrebonne Ave Mtl., at 3:30 pm. All are welcome.

Upcoming Events: Please mark your calendar - on December 2, 2012 immediately after our Praise Assembly Mass, we will be having our Christmas Pot Luck Supper as usual.

CCSM annual retreat will be held at Villa St. Martin in Pierrefonds on February 22-24 2013. Fr. Cyril MacNeil of Holy Family Parish in Two Mountains will be our facilitator.

An invitation of the Holy Father Pope Benedict XVI to attend Pentecost Vigil in 2013.

ICCRS is planning a program for all Catholic Charismatic Renewal to come to Rome and take part in this event. The Proposed Plan will include:
Friday evening May 18 - Prayer meeting in a central Church in Rome;
Saturday May 19 - Pentecost Vigil with the Holy Father;
Sunday May 20 - Pentecost of the National Celebration.

CCR Golden Jubilee: ICCRS is proposing a vision for New Pentecost for a New Evangelization with a broad focus area to create a commonality among the worldwide charismatic family. In 2017 CCR will celebrate the 50th Anniversary in Rome.
ICCRS encourages each charismatic reality in every nation to journey in a special way towards the Golden Jubilee and to make every effort to celebrate this event together in the Eternal City.
